Thank you for your interest in renting at Fermi Sandbox!

We have four different types of vendor spots

Boardwalk Shops

• Boardwalk shops are around the sandbox and are great for having a vendor, ad-board or just small, low primmed items.
• They are 8m wide, 4m deep and 8m high and have a maximum of 10 prims to use.  The minimum weeks to rent is 1 week.

Rooftop Shops

• Rooftop shops are at the top of the two story shops. They are open and easy accessible to people.
• They are 9.5m wide, 7.5m deep and 8m high and have a maximum of 25 prims to use.
• Signs/logos may be placed on the top overhang, with a maximum size of 8m wide and 2m high.
• The minimum weeks to rent is 2 weeks.

Regular Shops

• Regular sized shops are at the bottom floor of the two story shops.
• They are 9.5m wide, 10m deep and 8m high and have a maximum of 50 prims to use.
• Signs/logos may be placed on the top overhang, with a maximum size of 8m wide and 2m high.
• The minimum weeks to rent is 2 weeks.

Large Shops

• Large shops are in each corner of the sim and next to the arrivalpoint
• Great for showing a wide range of products with enough space and prims.
• At the arrivalpoint and the far corners they are 20m wide, 20m deep and 8m high. The others are 20m wide, 16m deep and 8m high.
• All large shops have a maximum of 100 prims to use.
• Signs/logos may be placed on the top overhang.
• The minimum weeks to rent is 2 weeks.

For all Shops

• Fermi is rated as Mature. Therefore Adult content is not allowed at your rentalspot.
• Extra prim for your space are available in segments of 10 prim for an additional $20L per week.
• A maximum of 24 weeks can be rented at once.

***POLICY PLEASE READ THIS***

There is a 10% discount available if you rent 12 weeks or more in ONE PAYMENT.   This rebate is automatic and ONLY available if you pay for the 12 weeks in one payment.  If you pay for 12 weeks or more in installments it does NOT QUALIFY and you will NOT receive the rebate.  If you have questions about this please contact Arthur fermi or Kai Eldrich BEFORE renting.

You will need to be a member of the Fermi Designs group, and all items placed must be done with your Fermi Designs tag on.  Please contact Cinderella Winkler, Bosco Gray, Arthur Fermi or Kai Eldrich for your tag.

>> Adult Content (Important) <<

Due to policy changes by Linden Lab®, adult content is not allowed at your rentalspot.  Please read through the knowledgebase (https://support.secondlife.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=4417&task=knowledge&questionID=6010) to find out if your product(s) belongs within the adult category.  Adult items will be returned by Fermi Staff if they determine there is a violation of policy or at request from Linden Lab® staff.

Late Payments

Rent Reminder Notices are send out 3 days before your due date, and there is a 3 day grace period. For Boardwalks the grace period is just ONE day.  We will make every effort to contact you before your grace period is up.  If payment or arrangements have not been made, your items will be returned to you and your spot will be put up for rent.   Please keep in mind our spaces rent very quickly and we often have a wait list. If you are continually late and make no.  arrangements with us we reserve the right to rent your space without giving you the “grace period.”   The best way to avoid this is to make your payments on time.

Rules

• Automatic group-Inviting or item-giving objects are not allowed.
• We do not allow servers that “talk” or run in attract mode.
• NO REFUNDS, please make sure you are renting the time and space you want.
• No excessive particles, laggy scripts, spinning cubes, spewing particles, extreme usage of glow, etc.
• Signs may be placed, depending on the rentaltype. Please look at the specifications mentioned above.  If signs exceed the specifications, meaning they are too large, rotating or using extreme glow we reserve the right to return them to you, with notice in advance.
• We reserve the right to amend the rules and procedures at anytime without advance notice as is needed to keep this a friendly place to build and shop.
